Biography
Dr. Michael J. Biggerstaff has an MA in Hebrew Bible from Vanderbilt University, and a PhD in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at The Ohio State University. He is a scholar of the literature, history, and religious cultures of the ancient Mediterranean and Middle Eastern worlds with particular research interests in ancient prophecy, divination, magic, and mythology. He also explores religious tolerance and diversity, comparative religious ethics, and how modern worldviews and construct affect our perceptions of other cultures and peoples, both ancient and modern.
