Biography
While a student at UVU, I worked as a Library Aide in the Fulton Library--frequently on the 8 p.m. to closing shift. Later, I was selected by the Woodbury School of Business to be a writing tutor for their students. I enjoyed helping students improve their written communication.
After graduation, I began my formal employment with UVU working as a part-time employee in the Accounts Payable office. In early 2017, I accepted a full-time position within that office as an Accounts Payable Technician. I worked with vendors whose names begin with the letters O through Z, and later assumed responsibility for the multiple utility vendors as well. While in this office, I continued to develop relationships with the many individuals who serve in, and direct, the myriad of departments that make up the University.
In December of 2017, I accepted a position as the departmental accountant for the Office of Information Technology, working closely with Ray Walker, Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President for Information Technology. In this position, I have enjoyed being a part of the many behind-the-scenes systems, processes, and people who are so willing to help students, faculty, and staff to be successful at UVU.
