Biography

Justin Allison serves as Director of Native Excellence & Tribal Engagement at Utah Valley University. He earned a Master of Education from the School of Education at Utah Valley University. He earned his BS from Utah Valley University in University Studies (English and Literature) with a Global/Intercultural Distinction.

Justin has previously served as an Academic Advisor, Native American Specialist, and a Coordinator in UVU's Multicultural Student Services. In 2022 he was awarded the Specialty Advisor of the Year Academic Advising Award at Utah Valley University. He has done research in Academic Advising Practices for Native American student populations in University's and Tribal Colleges. He has experience as a presenter, trainer, teacher, cultural performer, and advisor at various universities and non-profit organizations.
