Dr. Jenny Nehring

Biography

Dr. Jenny Nehring has been an instructor at Utah Valley University since 2006. She began her career teaching in the Mathematics and Developmental Mathematics departments and later joined the Woodbury School of Business, where she taught courses in data analytics, business calculus, and business statistics. Currently, Dr. Nehring is an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology department, focusing on system administration, cybersecurity, and data communication.

Before transitioning to higher education, Dr. Nehring worked in industry with organizations including Alliant Tech Systems (now Northrop Grumman), Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and Microsoft technical support services.

She is passionate about teaching and student engagement. Outside the classroom, she enjoys camping, hiking, dirt biking, snowboarding, and traveling with her family.
