Biography

I'm a Utah native and graduated with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Utah studying laser spectroscopy. Following graduate school, I studied as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Central Florida developing surface plasmon resonance (SPR) techniques to quantify contaminants in water. I joined UVU faculty after nearly ten years as a lecturer at one of the largest undergraduate schools in the United States and look forward to continuing research and pedagogical interests with the outstanding students in Utah Valley.
