I was born in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to the United States at a young age. I then lived in Mexico City for two years before settling in Texas where I attended the University of Texas at Brownsville. There I completed my Master's degree under the direction of Dr. Oleg Musin. I completed my Ph.D. from UW-Milwaukee in 2015 under the direction of Dr. Boris Okun.
