MJ is an AI Scientist specializing in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Software Development, with over a decade of professional experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, an MBA, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. His postdoctoral research focused on using drone-captured images for wind turbine maintenance, emphasizing Computer Vision and Image Processing techniques. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Utah Valley University, teaching courses in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Software Development. Prior to joining UVU, MJ was part of a collaborative study involving the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, and Stanford, where he worked on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPTs and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze Big Data for well-being and health research.
