Mr. Zac Taylor

Biography

Zachery J Taylor Automotive Collision Repair Instructor. At a young age I developed the desire and love for the automobile. My father was a great mechanic. He could make things run, but they looked terrible. In High school I took a Collision repair class. I excelled in the class , I learned how to paint and was able to help my father make those old trucks look great. I have worked in a collision shop, owned my own business, and enjoy teaching others the tricks of the trade.

2023 Service Excellence Award

Smith College of Engineering and Technology - February 28, 2023

The 2023 Service in Excellence Award is was granted to Zac Taylor. This award is for to recognize his efforts in transforming the Transportation Technologies Department. He has worked through some difficult conversations and has been forward and visionary in the future of the programs in Transportation Tech. He has is currently serving as department chair. He has collaborated across campus with many stake holders to develop a pilot afternoon Concurrent Enrollment program that will allow students from Alpine, Nebo and Provo school districts to attend. He is continuing to make an effort to look at things differently and try things that haven't been done to transform the education for students at the university.
