Dr. Merrill Halling

Biography

I started teaching in the UVU Department of Chemistry in 2011. I have been serving as the Department Chair since 2019. Before coming to UVU, I earned a BS in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Utah. I grew up in Southwestern Michigan and in Middle Tennessee. I enjoy being active outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
