Biography

Dr. Peter Robinson is the Morris Professor of Entrepreneurship at Utah Valley University. Peter teaches entrepreneurship and technology commercialization through for credit classes and training for business professionals. Dr. Robinson has been active in research with over 50 publications in peer reviewed journals, proceedings, book chapters and white papers, and over 75 presentations at conferences, seminars and workshops in the US, Canada, Jamaica and Russia. His research focuses on the psychology of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship education. A key element in Dr. Robinson?s research has been the development of the Entrepreneurial Attitude Orientation (EAO), a measure of an entrepreneurs mindset along four dimensions; (1) innovation in business, (2) achievement in business, (3) personal control in business, and (4) self-esteem in business. The EAO has been cited in over 1200 publications and has become a foundation instrument in assessing the effect of entrepreneurship education.
