Biography
April has been a valued member of the UVU community since 2014 and has supported Behavioral Science students since 2016. In Spring 2024, she earned her Masters in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education Leadership from UVU. That fall, she began teaching the online FAMS 3100 Career and Graduate School Preparation course, continuing her collaboration with the Family Science department.
As April has grown into her teaching role, she continues to learn and refine her approach to better serve her students. Her dedication to inclusive and student-centered education shines through in every class she teaches.
As a committed advisor for the Family Science program, April is passionate about helping students succeed, especially those navigating learning challenges. She strives to create a supportive environment where all students feel empowered to reach their goals.
