Dr. Keith Mulbery

Biography

Dr. Mulbery is an accomplished educator with a wealth experience in Business Information Systems. Dr. Mulbery earned his B.S. in Business Education and his M.Ed. from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Business Information Systems from Utah State University.

Dr. Mulbery became a faculty member at Utah Valley State College in 1994, and he was promoted to the rank of Professor on July 1, 2011. During the 2009-2010 academic year, he served as Interim Associate Dean for the College, and served as the Department Chair for the Information Systems and Technology Department from 2010 to 2018. Dr. Mulbery has also served on a variety of policy revision committees and was a member of the Summer School Advisory Board at UVU. Currently, he serves on the University Flexible Learning Council (UFLC) and Academic Technology Steering Committee (ATSC).

Dr. Mulbery has won numerous awards, including the UVU College of Technology and Computing Faculty Excellence Award, UVSC School of Technology and Computing Teaching Award, UVU School of Technology and Computing Scholar Award, and the UVU Board of Trustees Award of Excellence. He was selected for the Utah Valley Senior Executive Leadership Forum (UVSELF) cohort for 2017-2018. Dr. Mulbery is a renowned author and a member of many organizations including, the International Association for Computer Information Systems, the Association for Computing Machinery, and the National Business Education Association.

Dr. Mulbery is an advocate for UVU's focus on student success. He created the Keith R. Mulbery Endowed Scholarship for Information Systems in 2013. Several students have benefited as scholarship recipients.
