Dr. Krista Ruggles

Biography

Dr. Ruggles is an Associate Professor and the Department Chair of the Elementary Education program at Utah Valley University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Education, focusing on STEM and educational technology. Specific areas of interest include preservice teacher preparation, technology integration, and culturally responsive teaching. Her current research is focused on K-6 students' and teachers' understandings and attitudes toward engineering and technology.
