Bret Skousen

Biography

Bret's 30+ years of executive leadership at companies like Black & Decker (B&D), Mountain America Credit Union (MACU), and most recently with Utah tech companies, have resulted in a business acumen that is both broad and deep. At tech companies, Bret created and executed corporate OD, Marketing, PR, Business Development strategies, and initiatives which resulted in explosive growth. At MACU, he implemented completely new sales, marketing, and product development processes from which the first product developed under this process resulted in an increase of over 50% profitability per user. At B&D, Bret's sales territories consistently over-performed expectations by 15 to 20%, and, as a testament to Bret's passion for building high-performing executive teams, he was responsible for creating the BDHHI University, where B&D's leadership is trained, groomed, and developed. As an avid outdoorsman, Bret enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding, and ATV sports. Bret's greatest loves are his wife, three daughters, two granddaughters, and a grandson.
Bret received a bachelor of science in business from BYU, a master of science in executive leadership from the University of San Diego, and was certified as an executive coach from Corporate Coach University.
