Ehsan Rohani received his B.Sc. with honors in Electronic Engineering from the University of AmirKabir Tehran, Iran. He received his M.Sc. with honors in Electronic Engineering, from the University of Tehran, Iran. Rohani received Iran Telecommunication Research Center scholarship, to support his M. Sc. thesis on baseband implementation of WiMAX transceiver, while he was teaching Math, Robotics and Electronics in Tehran schools, Sep'03-Sep'06. He was lecturer at Islamic Azad University (2006- 2010), and cooperated with Danesh and Honar Institutions (supported by UNICEF).
In 2010, Rohani attend the Texas A&M graduate program as a Ph.D. student where he also received the 2015 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. Rohani did defend his Ph.D. dissertation on "Hardware Solutions for Next Generation of Telecommunication Systems Physical Layer Implementation." in December 2016. Throughout his Ph.D. Ehsan worked on high performance signal processing algorithms for MIMO wireless systems, and high performance (re)configurable architectures for them. He developed an Integer Forcing linear processor that provides a bridge between the performances of search based detectors and simplicity of linear detectors. He was Lecturer at Texas A&M since Spring 2015 to Summer 2018 when he joined Utah Valley University as an Assistant Professor
