Biography

Candida Johnson is currently studying for a Ph.D. in Communications and holds an M.A. in Executive Leadership and a B.S. in Speech Communication. She is a first-generation student with a passion for helping others to succeed in their endeavors. Her Gallup strengths truly personify who she is: Includer, Strategic, Achiever, Developer, and Positivity. These attributes are evident through her supervisory experience, production background, strong relationship-building skills, and positive attitude, all of which have a dynamic effect on any working environment.

Before starting at Utah Valley University, Candida worked as a General Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Project Manager at a San Antonio based contract screen print company. While with that company, she helped implement strategic marketing plans, streamlined production operations and facilitated multi-million-dollar contracts with Reebok, Adidas, Knights Apparel, NBA, NFL, NHL, and other local affiliates. Candida also established strong relationships with outside vendors and managed recruitment marketing endeavors at national trade shows.
