Megan Spurlock

Biography

Assistant Professor with 2 years of teaching experience at the university level and 4 years of teaching experience at a technical college level. 4 years of experience of oncology nursing at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and 3 years of experience of nursing at the University of Utah Healthcare. My teaching interests lie at the intersection of fostering critical thinking skills and cultivating a deep understanding of nursing principles. I am dedicated to creating an engaging learning environment that promotes active participation and clinical reasoning. Emphasizing evidence-based practice, I strive to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary for excellence in patient care. I am enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of nurses to excel in both clinical competence and compassionate patient-centered care for all people.
