Biography

Dr. Megan Lewis has facilitated music learning for over 25 years. Her experience includes teaching positions at Brigham Young University and Northwest Arkansas Community College. In addition to college teaching, she has served as artistic director and teacher in various performing arts schools throughout the United States.

Dr. Lewis has maintained an active performing career in opera, operetta, musical theater, concert, and online. Over the past ten years she has composed fifty original songs and has produced over one hundred songs. Her scholarly work has centered on self-efficacy theory and the factors that influence performance belief.

She earned her Bachelor and Master degrees in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University and her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Boston University.
