Biography

Niki Swan has a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Strategy from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. She has been working as a career development professional and teaching in higher education since 2012. Her industry experience is varied and includes experience in strategic leadership positions in both higher education and industry settings. Niki's higher education leadership has included project manager/principal investigator at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute and Director of Clinical Education at UVU. Outside of higher education, she has worked in the financial sector and in management/leadership consulting. Through this experience, Niki is able to bridge the gap between academia and industry, connecting students and professionals to make career goals reality. Further, Niki has worked with professionals from a variety of industries to rekindle their passion, develop resilience, and harness their strengths for success. Niki teaches strategic career development, stress management and resilience, and directs the clinical year for the physician assistant program. Her 5 kids, 4 chickens, 3 dogs, 1 husband, and 1 cat keep her laughing and appreciating life's beauty.
