Improved password management tools and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for our Microsoft collaboration tools will be in place for students. These enhancements will enable all of us to work and interact more securely. For the time being, faculty and staff will continue to use our current tools.

Rollout Schedule

  • July 19, 2021: Employees and Fall 2021 enrolled students will begin migrating from Gmail (with emails ending in @my.uvu.edu) to Outlook (with emails ending in @uvu.edu) which will allow for Microsoft self-service password management.
  • August 20, 2021: After finals, Summer 2021 enrolled students will begin migrating from Gmail (with emails ending in @my.uvu.edu) to Outlook (with emails ending in @uvu.edu) which will allow for Microsoft self-service password management.
