F: Ready Prior to the First Day
On the first day of class or work, delays and confusion due to technological issues
are not uncommon, especially for employees. We should strive to optimize the "first-day-of-work"
experience for students, faculty, and staff by proactively and efficiently preparing
the necessary technology. We need to simplify the materials and services we provide,
prioritizing the most important items and making sure that they are always available
on the first day. This means ensuring that new employees have the necessary paperwork,
equipment, and technology; that the labs are equipped with the right software; and
that Canvas is operational and all course materials are uploaded.
