Having an estimated genome size for your organism of interest is essential for ensuring proper coverage/depth of your sequencing project as well as proper assembly size in your bioinformatic pipeline.

UVU has a Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX flow cytometer which can be used to provide a highly accurate genome size estimate using proven and highly cited methodologies.
