Utah Valley University’s (UVU) Smith College of Engineering and Technology kicked off the school year with their second annual TEC Fest on August 30. Students and faculty from the 11 departments (over 40 programs, degrees, and certificates) lined the Computer Science courtyard with booths displaying the many possibilities each department has to offer.
“TEC Fest is a great way to find out the resources that are available on campus and the different departments in Engineering and Technology,” Internship Coordinator Stacie Brown said. “If students are undecided, they can come look at the programs and degrees that we have. It gets the students involved and provides an opportunity to meet new people.”
The Smith College of Engineering and Technology has 11 different department offerings: Architecture & Engineering Design, Aviation Sciences, Computer Science, Construction Technologies, Culinary Arts, Digital Media, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Systems & Technology, Technology Management, and Transportation Technologies.
