You are invited to participate in the American Mountain West International Piano Competition,
an event for pianists of all ages and levels. Performers have the option of playing
in UVU’s Concert Hall or submitting a private YouTube link.

All performers will receive adjudication comments and a participation certificate.

Pianists have free choice of repertoire in any style and may play as many pieces as
desired within the time limit. Concertos are permitted and will be played without
a second piano. All music must be memorized. Divisions must have 6 pianists registered
in order to receive prize money.
Divisions and Performance Durations:
Young Elementary Division (8 yrs old and younger): 4 minute maximum
Elementary Division (9-11 yrs old): 6 minute maximum
Junior Division (12-15 yrs old): 8 minute maximum
Senior Division (16-18 yrs old): 10 minute maximum
Adult Division (19 and above): 12 minute maximum
