What is the Student Emergency Fund?

To assist our students with short-term needs, UVU has created the Student Emergency and CARE Fund. CARE stands for Coordinating Access to Resources and Education.
  • 51 percent of students have said they faced food insecurity during the semester
  • 11.1 percent of students say they are at immediate risk of losing their housing
UVU has created a small fund that will award emergency scholarship funding in increments of $50 to $500 for students in need. These funds can be used for food, emergency housing, or unplanned medical issues.
