Recognizing that the personal financial planning program at UVU ranks among the top ten in the nation, with nearly 90% job placement, Makenna Koopmans believed UVU was the ideal place for her to pursue her education.

The generosity of donors allows Makenna to thrive at UVU; she can focus on her studies without any financial burden. She gains experience through numerous work opportunities that UVU provides and participates in several student leadership programs. She knows that her time at UVU prepares her for success not only in her academics but also in work and life.

“UVU donor support has impacted me immensely because it keeps me in school,” Makenna said. “I would not be where I am today without the donorfunded programs that are helping me pay for my education. I will forever be grateful to anyone who has donated because it has helped me become who I am today.”
