Dates & Deadlines

Each graduate program has its own dates and deadlines. Please ensure that you are fully aware of application deadlines for the program you are applying for.

Minimum Admissions Requirements for Graduate Studies at UVU:

  • $50 application fee
  • College transcripts 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university 
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or a 3.0 calculated GPA based on the last 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of undergraduate work

Additional required documents vary by program:

  • GRE, GMAT 
  • Essay responses 
  • Resume 
  • Letters of Recommendation

International Graduate Students

International students can only be accepted into full-time graduate programs. Only the following programs are accepting international graduate students right now: MBA, MACC, MSW, MEd, Teacher Leadership.

Admissions requirements remain the same as domestic students with the addition of the following:

  • English Proficiency: TOEFL score of 80 iBT (550 pBT) or IELTS score of 6.5 or higher within the last two years.
  • Affidavit of Support: Upload a signed “Affidavit of Support” that has been completed by the person accepting financial responsibility. Each graduate program has its own specific form.
  • Bank Statement: Provide document as requested on “Affidavit of Support” from student or sponsor. All financial support documents must be in English and show amounts in U.S. funds.
  • Copy Of Passport: Attach a copy of the passport for the student and any dependents who will also need an I-20.
