All Aboard

The All Aboard series of workshops is designed specifically for the onboarding of new UVU faculty. Throughout the year, monthly sessions will be offered with a complimentary light lunch. Themes range from Canvas, media services, shared governance, suicide prevention, ombudsmen, accessibility, global-intercultural, service learning, and more.

Library Resources for Faculty

The Fulton Library is a vital resource available to all UVU faculty. The Library provides scholarly tools to enhance any academic course and help students develop information literacy. In addition, the Library’s friendly and knowledgeable staff is committed to providing excellent service to help faculty and students be successful.

The Office of Teaching and Learning Lab and Getting Started with Canvas

The Office of Teaching and Learning Lab is the hub for technology and teaching on campus. The Lab staff are highly skilled in technology and offer many great services including faculty training on Canvas, the learning management system (LMS) on campus. The OTL Lab is located in FL (Fulton Library) 515. 

Testing Center

The testing center has updated their policies for the coming fall 2013 semester. Distance Education courses, hybrid courses and large section courses (greater than 100 students) have first priority over other courses. There is a 5 exams/quizzes/finals limit an instructor can give per course in the testing center. Please view this website for more information.

Capitol Reef Field Station

The Capitol Reef Field Station is located in Capitol Reef National Park. Faculty and students use this excellent facility for engaged learning and applied research.

Information Technology for Faculty

Navigating technology on campus may feel daunting. The IT Service Desk is the place to go for any technology questions on campus. The number to the IT Service Desk 801-863-8888 or just type in the extension 8888 on your work phone.
