Our Services

The Educational Talent Search team provides in-school services on a monthly basis to meet with students and parents and to provide college, career, and financial aid readiness. We provide a customized college plan for each student enrolled in the Educational Talent Search Program.

The Educational Talent Search Team is available to discuss college awareness and conduct career assessments to explore career majors and pathways in the classroom setting or after-school workshops for students and parents.

TRIO Educational Talent Search Student

Student Commitment

By participating in the Educational Talent Search program, students agree to:

  • Attend school regularly 
  • Attend monthly ETS meetings held at their school 
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Work hard and graduate from high school at the end of 12th grade or to graduate early if possible 
  • Attend a college or university the fall after high school graduation 
  • Earn a college degree within six years of high school graduation and follow up with TRIO staff each year

Mini College Trip

The FREE summer mini college trip is provided for 40 qualifying juniors. Educational Talent Search students who have demonstrated commitment and hard work during the academic year are eligible to attend. Participants will: ○ Visit college campuses ○ Experience career exploration opportunities ○ Participate in a STEM activity ○ Tour local colleges at no cost, including transportation, lodging, and meals ○ Attend a cultural arts event
