Freshman Students
Deadline: February 1
Freshman students are students that are graduating from high school.
A student with any amount of concurrent enrollment or AP classes are
still considered a new student for scholarship purposes.
UVU has scholarships to award from several areas on campus that take
into consideration a wide range of criteria. Scholarships are awarded
on a yearly or semester to semester basis. To be considered for most
scholarships, applicants must be admitted to UVU and
provide the Admissions & Registration Office
with a copy of their high school grade transcript, ACT Scores (if
applicable), and complete the online comprehensive scholarship application
by the February 1 deadline. The application will not be considered
complete until all requirements are met. Applications received after
the deadline will receive second priority consideration.
Non-Resident Freshman
UVU is a state funded institution, and due to state mandates there are a
limited number of scholarships available for non-resident students.

- Exceptional Performance (Music, Dance, Theater, Athletics and Student Government). You must contact Department/Area for audition or tryout dates
- Privately Funded – Complete the online comprehensive application
