Hidden Voices: Aesthetics of Change

In conjunction with Zeitgeist: Spirit of the Times

Woodbury Art Museum

Jan 14 - Mar 7

“Hidden Voices: Aesthetics of Change" explores the power of art to creatively explore contemporary social issues that confront the cultural beliefs and established power structures of society that challenge ideas of equity, justice, and sustainability.

Nancy Steele-Makasci’s exhibition Zeitgeist confronts contemporary social issues concerning gender inequality, economic and justice disparity, agricultural monopolization, environmental exploitation and silence. Cultural beliefs and established power structures that hurt, defeat and destroy innocent lives are creatively exposed and challenged through a series of powerful images rebelliously defying inequalities with unpredictable figures, words and symbology.

The Woodbury Art Museum is free and open to the public.
