In accordance with the Utah Valley University COVID-19 Recovery Plan, and following the guidance of Utah Gov. Gary Herbert's Utah Leads Together 3.0 plan, UVU is operating under the Yellow status of the Stabilization Phase. This means UVU's Orem Campus is open. Employees working on campus must adhere to safety procedures as outlined in the Recovery Plan, including social distancing and not coming to campus if ill.

All main campus facilities will be open beginning June 8 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday–Friday, with the exception of the McKay Education Building, the Melisa Nellesen Autism Center, and Wee Care Center. UVU’s Wasatch Campus will re-open June 15.

The Student Life & Wellness Center will also re-open and will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday–Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Those who wish to utilize the facilities will be required to comply with state guidelines, which include maintaining a social distance of six feet and completing a health survey and temperature screening. Additional measures are being taken to sanitize equipment. Locker rooms and showers, equipment check-out, and in-person fitness classes will not be available during this first phase of reopening.

Grab-and-go food services are available Monday-Friday at these locations:

  • Chick-fil-A
  • Mom Fulton's Café
  • Taco Bell
