Dear Orchestra Colleague:
Utah Valley University will again be sponsoring a Junior High/Middle School Orchestra Festival this spring. This year's Festival is on Tuesday May 9 and Wednesday May 10, 2017. It will be held in the Ragan Theater on UVU campus.
Our non-competitive format includes a 30-minute performance-clinic session with an adjudicator. We hope this format will provide you and your students with a rewarding experience. As we continue to strive for more interaction with the adjudicator, please choose a maximum of 15 minutes of music for the performance so that the remaining 15 minutes may be utilized for interaction.
The registration fee for each orchestra is $125.00. This includes audio recordings of both the performance and clinic as well as written feedback. A photographer will also be present to take pictures of your ensemble following the clinic. These pictures are available for optional purchase.
I hope you would be able to arrange your schedule and join us for our festival. A complimentary lunch will be provided for all directors.
Please fill out the registration form and submit with credit card payment . Entries are due April 1 and will be considered in the order they are received. The slots do fill up quickly, so please register early. We will confirm your registration, coordinate a performance time, and provide additional instructions upon receipt of payment.
