What does the Coordinator of Student and Faculty Services (my advisor) do?

• Registers you for classes
• Releases holds
• Refers resident students to TRIO for financial aid advisement
• Counsels students regarding academic progress
• Refers students to UVU Writing Center and Academic Tutoring
• Helps resolve student/instructor issues
• Connects students with campus and community resources (FAFSA, health care, Accessibility Services, housing, technology, etc.)
• Connects exiting L6 students with general and major advisors
• Serves as liaison with International Student Services and Multicultural Student Services
• Monitors students’ attendance & grades
