Panorama by YuJa is a new accessibility tool for UVU that makes it easy for you to create and offer online content that everyone can access. OTL has created an Accessibility Workflow Guide to help you explore the features of this exciting new accessibility tool.
The goal of this hybrid course is to provide participants with an understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in higher education. Topics covered include AI fundamentals, using AI for teaching and course design, teaching students AI literacy, and leveraging AI for research. Interactive activities reinforce concepts and provide hands-on experience with AI tools and resources relevant to teaching and learning. There will be a cap of 20 participants and a $1,000 stipend upon completion.

Save the date for the 9th annual Teaching for Learning (T4L) Conference, held here at UVU February 26-28, 2025.
During the conference, participants will be able to connect with other instructors, take home great ideas for teaching, and stay current on research in teaching and learning.

Offering robust professional development pathways and recognition through the Teaching Excellence Program (TEP). Through the TEP, instructors enhance teaching practices through peer-led teaching certification programs with a special focus on high impact teaching practices such as supporting first year students, undergraduate research, collaborative learning, service learning, and writing pedagogy.
As the only American institution accredited by Advance HE, OTL awards prestigious HEA fellowships in recognition of teaching/supporting learning excellence. The HEA fellowship program provides instructors with service opportunities through mentoring and assessing peer applications.
