Students

One of the best ways for students to learn is through hands-on scholarship, research, or creative activities.  It is our intent at UVU to provide a vehicle for undergraduate students to engage in meaningful scholarly work with faculty mentors.

Students can be granted academic credit, determined by the time of participation in the scholarly and creative activity as negotiated with participating faculty members.  Academic credit may lead to a senior thesis and/or a published paper in the appropriate scholarly literature.  Under some circumstances, students may be provided financial support for the scholarly activities.  This website should help you discover ways to apply for funding and guide you through scholarly and creative activity opportunities offered through UVU.
