Tuition and Fees
Full-time 2008-09 undergraduate resident students at Utah Valley University paying a semester tuition and fee amount of $1,876 (before any financial aid, scholarship or waiver) contribute an estimated 45 percent to the full cost of instruction per full-time student of $4,186. The remaining support for the full cost of instruction is provided by $2,310 of state tax funds. Learn more about our tuition and fees
Methods of payment for tuition include paying by check (Webcheck), paying by installments (short term loan), paying by credit card, paying with cash, and paying with a debit card.

Tuition Payment Plus : Utah Valley University has implemented a new software program which integrates, in real time, with our existing campus information system for students. Financial Aid & Scholarships
We offer a comprehensive and varied program of financial assistance including grants, loans, work and scholarships. The purpose of financial aid is to help eligible students bridge the gap between what they and their families can be expected to pay and what it will cost to attend college. Scholarships
Students may apply for many academic and private scholarships to help finance the completion of their education. Faculty will find information regarding stipends, fellowships, grants, and programs offered by the Office of Academic Affairs to help with the developing of scholarly and creative research activities involving undergraduate students. Individuals, companies, and corporations have the opportunity to establish a private named scholarship that will benefit the students of UVU and ultimately our world community. Learn more

Options for course credits
- In some cases you can transfer credits from other institutions.
- In some cases you can test out of a course such as a language although there is a processing fee.
- In some cases you can get work experience credit (Dantes credit by exam).
