UVU Incubator Office SpaceUtah Valley University has recently implemented a program to assist start-up and existing small businesses with incubation services. These services include furnished, triple net office space at a below market lease. Businesses that qualify will be located in Building L, Canyon Park Technology Center located at 1555 North Technology Way in Orem. The University has prime space for 6 more businesses. To qualify the business must meet incubator requirements. UVU Incubator Space (pdf) If needed, we can break up the spaces for your convenience so they fit your needs. As a small business advisor, we know the importance of keeping overhead down. We also know that professional, functional and legitimate work and office space is vital to a company’s success. Utah Valley University - through its economic development commitment to the community - has set up office and work space for start-up and emerging businesses. This incubator space is located on the first floor of Building L at Canyon Park Technology Center (old WordPerfect complex) in Orem. We presently are offering one 156 sq. ft. office cubicle for $155 a month. This includes utilities, janitorial, parking, conference space, classroom space; wired and wireless phone service and computer hook up. In addition, this building provides nice eating facilities and has accommodations for business luncheons or dinners. UVU understands the "cash flow" concerns of small business. Therefore, we have designed an "Easy Entry Program" for this space. Under this program a business can enter into a two year lease agreement with a monthly lease payment at 50% of the normal rate for six months. The next six months the lease would be at 75% the normal rate. Then the second year would be at the normal $155/mo. per cubicle. For example, if a company leases two cubicles on the "Easy Entry Plan" the first six month rate would be $130/mo. The second six month rate would be $195/mo. The second year rate would be at $310/mo. This program gives start-up companies time to build working capital during the first year! In addition to this bargain space, UVU will offer its Small Business Development, Entrepreneurship Institute and the Milestone Management services free of charge to the tenant. If you are interested in getting into some professional office and work space at affordable rates now is the time to take advantage of this offer. Once this space is gone no more will be available.
