The Center for the Advancement of Leadership provides support to the "Why Try" program within the junior high schools in the Utah County area. "Why Try" was created to provide simple hands-on solutions that answer the question, "why try in life", during times when students get frustrated, confused or angry with life's pressures. "Why Try" teaches youth that, "Yes, it is worth putting in the effort to overcome the challenges at home, at school, and with peers." This program provides students with the opportunity for more freedom and self-respect within any life discipline. This program is provided both locally and world wide, with tens of thousands of students who have benefited from this unique approach to personal development.
