Programs and Conferences

The Center for the Advancement of Leadership (CAL) is dedicated to providing and supporting programs and services for students of all ages. From our Virtual Leadership Academy to the Know Greater Heroes Program, the CAL is dedicated to helping everyone achieve their leadership potential.

The Center for the Advancement of Leadership is proud to offer high school students and community members an invitation to participate in the CAL's 10th Annual Leadership Conference. This year's conference will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, from 8:45am - 1:00 pm at the McKay Events Center.

Since its inception in 1999, the CAL has attracted thousands of students each year who have an interest in developing their leadership potential.

For 2009, our Keynote Speakers are former Miss Utah, Jill Stevens Shepherd and leadership consultant/entrepreneur David Ibarra, with more than 20 topical and discipline-specific breakout sessions.

This year’s theme: "Release the Leader Within: Be the Change You Want to See in the World" was chosen to help students of all ages recognize the the their capacity to influence the world for the better within their own meaningful life arenas.

Special drawings and prizes will be given along with information regarding scholarship opportunities through the Center for the Advancement of Leadership.
