Concurrent Enrollment Program

The Center for the Advancement of Leadership provides a way for high school students to earn college credit. High school stuents can participate in a concurrent enrollment leadership course and work toward their baccalaureate degree.

The main concurrent enrollment course for high school seniors is MGMT1250, "Principles of leadership." Students can earn three credits toward a leaderhip certificate or a bachelor's degree in integrated studies.

High school teachers from inside and outside the UVU service area receive special training to deliver teh "Principles of Leadership" course. Both on-site training and a certification process have been designed to provide all teachers who are intersetd in teh opportunity to teach this concurrent enrollment class within their respective high schools.
