Dear Future Principles of Leadership Instructors:If you have been looking for a good overview course on leadership for your students, then you may wish to consider becoming a certified MGMT 1250 (Principles of Leadership) instructor.
The Principles of Leadership Course was designed to provide high school and college students with an overview of leadership development. Our easy-to-use leadership course was designed to ground students in theory and engage them in the application and practice of leadership.

There are three distinct advantages to becoming a certified leadership instructor through CAL:
The course provides your students with 15 core areas of knowledge regarding leadership development—knowledge they can use in their school, personal, and professional arenas.

There is a Concurrent Enrollment option available through UVU (currently on hold until our new president is hired—sometime in March).

There is state funding available through the Department of Education for both Marketing and Business certified instructors.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
We provide the certification course for only the cost of materials ($50) and in some cases, this fee will be waived pending available grant monies. We normally provide a certification in June of each year. However, we also offer certifications upon request to an individual or team of instructors.
The student manuals and course readings can be purchased through our bookstore for a nominal fee ($12.95/$14.95).
