Leadership Certification Introduction (video)

Dear Prospective Leaders:

The Center for the Advancement of Leadership is dedicated to providing you with the tools and experiences to help develop your leadership potential. From assessments, personal reflection, mentoring, special courses, workshops and seminars, leadership experience, and a chance to benchmark with leaders and other top students, we encourage you to consider achieving leadership certification. The programs have been organized with you in mind. They are flexible and can be completed on your time table. You will notice that there are two ways to complete the Leadership Certification Process. The first is the 10 Step Leadership Certification (pdf) with three different levels you can achieve from—with each level adding more rigor to your program.

We have also created a 3 Step Leadership Certification (pdf) for those students who want a more streamlined approach to achieving leadership certification.

You may also pursue a BA with an emphasis in leadership through the Integrated Studies Program. Review each of these programs then come to our monthly MasterMind sessions held the first Monday of each month in SC 206a. Following our monthly speaker (from 4:00pm – 5:00pm) we will hold a 30-minute orientation so that you can any of your most important questions.
