Network/GroupWise Login Instructions
Network and GroupWise accounts are created when all new hire paperwork has been completed. Your initial login is your UVID and UVLink Password.- Boot up computer.
- At the Novell login box click on the advanced button (bottom right).
- If the TREE says UVSC - you will need an area technician to come and migrate that computer before you can login.
- If the Tree says UVFP you can login.
- At the Novell Username: prompt type your UV ID.
- If you do not know your UV ID go to https://uvlinx.uvu.edu/lumlogin/FindBannerId.aspx . Your initial Password is your birthdate in mmddyy format
- If no UVID is returned then your information has not been entered into the system. Contact your department to see if your paperwork has been submitted.
- Tab or click on the Password line and type your UVLink Password then hit "Enter".
- To set up Email go to http://myemail.uvu.edu/ and select #1. Setup your Email Addresses.
- Login with your UVID and Password
- Click the Change link in Outgoing Address and choose a username from the drop- down menu.
- If you have GroupWise in your "Startup" a GroupWise box will pop up when you log in. Type in your UVID and Password and click on the Single Sign in box below for GroupWise to open Automatically each time you login to the Network.If you have any problems logging into the network, please call the Help Desk at extension 8888.
