How do I get funding for myself?

Through the generosity of many donors, private scholarship funding is available to UVU students. Criteria for these awards cover a wide range of qualifications. To apply for privately funded scholarships, and all other UVU scholarships, you must complete the Comprehensive Application

To ensure you are considered for every scholarship for which you qualify, be sure to set aside about an hour of time to complete the entire comprehensive application. We recommend writing your essays before you begin in Word and pasting them into the provided fields. Written sections are an opportunity to set yourself apart from the rest of the applicants. If you have extenuating family circumstances, financial need, a unique story or have distinguished yourself in anyway, tell us! Remember that quality of writing does make a difference, so take the time to edit your writing. You may even want to have a teacher or parent proof it for you.

Thank you to all of our private scholarship donors who have financially supported the education of a UVU student. Your contribution is vital to student success here at UVU.
