Faculty and Staff
Other Ways to Get Involved
There are many ways faculty and staff can get involved beyond monetary donations. Here are some ideas:
The Volunteer and Service Learning Center
The Volunteer & Service-Learning Center is UVU's one-stop shop for volunteer and community outreach opportunities. Located in the Student Center at the north end of the Hall of Flags (SC 101), the Center provides information on local volunteer needs, opportunities for leadership, details on academic service-learning, and other events that link the campus and the community.
Center for Engaged Learning
The Center for Engaged Learning has been given the charge to collaborate with academic affairs as well as student affairs to help create opportunities for service and engagement within the region. As stated by President William A. Sederburg, we desire to “connect the professional interests of our students with the issues facing their generation and their community, and connect the campus with the broader community.”
Multicultural Center
The UVU Multicultural Center is proud to provide a full range of support services targeting American minorities, but not excluding others. Their mission is to promote educational opportunities and intercultural enrichment for diverse heritage students and the community of UVU.
If you have additional items or areas we should add to this list, please contact Jack Jenks at jenksja@uvsc.edu and we will have them added. Thanks!
