CE Outstanding Merit Scholarship

$3,500 per year

Qualifications

  • High school GPA 3.6 +
  • Earned 15 - 29 concurrent enrollment credits at UVU (by July 1)
  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative UVU GPA
  • Utah resident

Award Information

  • $3,500 each year ($1,750 Fall semester & $1,750 Spring semester)
  • Students owe remaining tuition, general student fee (as notated on the Current Tuition Tables), and other fees associated with their coursework
  • Scholarship can be deferred

Renewal Requirements

  • Scholarship is awarded for 4 years (8 semesters)
  • Must maintain a 3.2 cumulative GPA
  • Must earn 12 credits each semester

Utah resident CE Outstanding Merit Scholarships will be selected from current high school seniors who demonstrate that they meet the academic criteria. Unweighted GPA is used and GPA is not rounded.

Application Checklist

Prospective students must do the following by February 1, 2027 to be automatically considered:

  • Provide the Admissions Office with an official copy of your high school transcript by February 1st of their senior year of high school
