FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Can the dean's office stamp my add card?
No, but we can point you in the right direction. For Art & Visual Communications classes you will need to see Staci Owens in GT535. For Dance classes you will need to see Elaine Miner in GT611. For Music classes you will need to see Chris Gines in GT336. For Theatre classes you will need to see Loretta King in FA707. Remember, in order to be stamped you need to have your add card signed by your instructor first.
Can the dean's office print my paper for me? How about some copies? Where is the old copy machine that used to be on the 6th floor?
Unfortunately the dean's office cannot print or make copies for students. While your paper might only be a few pages long, we have over 1200 majors in our school. For copies we recommend using the Copy Center in GT516d. If you are down on the lower campus there is a Copy Center in SC101g. There is also a copy machine in the Computer Science building.
Where is the nearest computer lab?
The nearest one is in the fishbowl computer lab (Student Center 116).
Who is my academic advisor and where are they located?
Erin Grover is in charge of Theater and Music, her office is in GT619B. Tara Ivie sees AVC students with last names A-G, as well as Dance students, her office is in GT619A. Rae Ann Ellis sees AVC students with last names H-Z, her office is in GT619C.
