Advisory Board
On behalf of the School of the Arts Advisory Board, I congratulate all students as you complete another year of learning, serving and preparing for the future.  We are especially excited for you who are part of the 2009 graduating class. We welcome your families and friends to the campus to join with you and all of us in celebrating this milestone. The School of the Arts is a significant part of this outstanding institution.

What is the Arts Advisory Board? Volunteers who are interested in Art of all types are invited to be a part of our Board. We strive to support the School of the Arts in any way that we can. We seek help from all sources in enhancing the educational opportunities available to the students. Our board perceives that the most important need at this time is a state- of- the-art facility to gather all of the School of the Arts programs and facilities under one roof. For such projects, UVU receives financial help, when available, from our Governor and the Legislature. Currently, the University is seeking private and state funds to construct a beautiful new Center for the Arts. To obtain those funds we are required to demonstrate a community commitment to that goal. Who is the community? It is all of us. Students, parents, friends, alumni and our School of the Arts Board.

We are pleased to be partners with other organizations as we share opportunities to enjoy and support the Arts. Come and enjoy The Fantasticks at the Sundance Summer Theater this July 31 through August 22nd. Visit the Woodbury Art Museum in the University Mall. Take advantage of the student performances at UVU. We invite you to celebrate the arts with us.
