Process, Policy & Budget
The office of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs - Academic Administration has five primary functions:
- Assist the Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) with the formulation of overall Academic Affairs objectives, policies, workplans, and administrative calendar.
- Assist the VPAA as s/he determines the Academic Affairs priorities, and help develop strategic plans to achieve these priorities.
- Coordinate administrative, educational, and other activities that include budget, strategic planning, and project and data management within the VPAA office.
- Assess the effectiveness and outcomes of the annual Planning, Budgeting and Accountability (PBA) process.
- Work closely with the university Planning and Budget Office to ensure that Academic Affairs resources are aligned with institutional strategic goals and directives.
